Ok. This will be my last public release for A4A. I'm tired now. Although I can listen to you guys but it is too much for me to follow your requests. I'm a human, I have my freedom and I am not your servant. I am kind enough to make you feel please and happy but it has gone too much. For those who just come up with requests must look at yourself and ask a question: I'm a boss or I'm a user. 2 months ago, I knew nothing about I2C code and now I know it, understand it, make my own code. WHy don't you spend some hours to study it and make your own driver? The reason why I make the driver is that I want to improve my phone quality. I have no camera when I come to UK to study. I have missed lots of good events without having a picture. Some of my friends have gone and I have no pictures of them. WHen my old phone was dead, I decided to get a phone and at that time k750i is the cheapest with 2mp I could get. However, its quality is not really good as a real digitial camera. With this reason, I have tried to make it perfect on my phone and I'm pleased with it now.

Everyone has different point of views about things. If you want to make comparision then test my driver with a digital camera, not with other drivers or your eyes. To be honest, I just tested my drivers with my k750i cid49 and i'm sure of its quality. And w810i/w800i, i just imagine and follow your comments. From now on, I'll just send my new drivers to my friends here, not for public anymore since I'm so tired with your requests

Read the guide to know how to change things/increase-decrease compression to reduce crash...

Goodbye.

@Raiderski: Thank you master for your new software.

i personally agree with. A salute for your great work. I will always think you, whenever i take a snap from my w810i. Great work ended successfully. Take a Break. Concentrate on your studies, which is more important than this, cam work.

Hi ^_^
back with a question
I was compairing sarmad ,raiderski, lpachuong and my driver (lastes drivers ) and I found this

compairing to the others my driver gives white dots in night shots check this

lpachuong ( sarmad and raiderski gives me same result if we talk about the noise because of that I just upload lpachuong shot )

and here DarKMaGiCiaN

and here after crop the pics

lpachuong

You may call me crazy but it is interesting.

I have set up compression upto 98%(62) with buffersize 96200 and max size (02,5d) and still able to take pictures. File size from 530-610kb and 1 617kb. However, at night it is easy to restart
Hint: when you put the new driver in, turn it on, wait for 10s, take 1 snap shot. If it works or not doesn't matter, restart the phone. Everytime when you want to take the pictures, open the camera and let its refresh for 10s. Enjoy

That is interesting. I think it is about the sharpness. As you can see the sharpness on my driver is too high on cid49 and ur is 5 which is standard. Maybe your theory is true. You can test it with this driver if u have time, my friend: http://www.mediafire.com/?d0l4bhkmedf (careful with the compression) If this one give white points the ur are right.

make sure that image filtering is enabled in night mode. this looks like chroma noise. i remember this from my pictures when filtering was disabled during night mode

Randolph
the best way to test this is...

1. use original sarmad 5.8 (compression values beyond the border of stability for K750/W800)
2. find scene on which snapshot in (~100%) cases = camera crash
3. replace in code cam_ss_jpeg_buf_size_8=927C0; to 96650
4. try snapshots of scene from point 2 with above small change
5. report results

and remember: even if you set very high compression values camera not always will crash. hardest scene to test stability: inside forest... a lot of details and big amount of green color (green color is saved on every taken pixel, green and blue on every second pixel)
