R5B is for the phone. I think that Mobilecomm has the R2E which was the original version without chinese input.

Anyone had their firmware upgraded at Gurney Plaza Penang ? Don't wantt to go and find that they can't do it either. Is Accord an official SE service point ? On my Z600 warranty card, it says that Mobilecomm is suppose to be the service centre in penang.

kooili,

neither do i seen R2E and R5A before.... from what we have in klang valley all come with R2F as the most original basic firmware.

and R2F don't have chinese input as well.

if u think ya current firmware do not bother u on accessing ya daily work... why want to upgrade to R5B? just keep ya existing firmware and be happy about it.

accord is appointed technical center... it's has a different between authorize service center... but they can help u out as well.

kooili /Penguin

I upgraded my T610 there before with warranty card stated only mobilcomm. No problem.

Can't remember the phone number there but I bet you might visit Gurney Plaza when GSC open their 2nd biggest cineplex right? Then you can ask them.

IMHO they might offer service for Z600 since I do saw them putting up poster promoting Z600 last week.
