Hi Guys,

Just updated my firmware to the following:

Phone: CXC 162037 R9F011
Bluetooth: CXC 162058 R5A01
Organizer: CXC 162036 R5A17
CDA: CDA 162008/75 R6A01

After turning off the Transition effects, the phone is now amazingly fast. I'm very happy with the latest firmware updated. Love the P990i now and would never trade it in for the Nokia N95...hehehehe. Just my two cents.

Thanks.

Can someone tell me what the CDA part is? All the other bits on my phone are up to date with the above but my CDA is R5A13 instead. Is it worth upgrading just for that?

Hi. This is strange. I have the newest FW and I too have CDA R5A13
This has to be wrong because it also says CDA...../75. I have CDA..../1. It's the world generic 1 who gets upgraded first. Something is wrong here.

ok, seems like everybody is considering N95 or P1 as most of the questions about P990i are answered...although there are still people wanting to know how to change settings or to improve performance. me for example!!

i have a russian keypad layout (not the external keypad, but the internal keypad/board) and would like to change it to QWERTY. but how? no idea where to find something in the control panel. does somebody know?
