How is that even possible without having a completly sealed unit? I can only imagine it, if there are no ports, covers, flaps, holes or anything. No memory slot and certainly not a removable battery. If it is possible, it may be very thick and ugly looking and who would want that? People would rather go for a sexy look and ip57 like with Xperia Z.
I don't get why the Z would need a 3rd party Qi wireless charging kit or cover. It has the pins and with the docking station, it is sort of wireless. I mean, the main benefit is that one does not have to open the flaps in order to charge the handset and that's the most important point.

Because it's just as easy to rest your phone in the charging dock without having to connect a charger.
I think the way the Z, V & Acro S all have the exterior charging connectors is more than good enough!

I don't think Sony will be able to sell 50mil smartphones this year. Last year Sony had really strong mid-end line up. Xperia U was the cheapest dual core smartphone and Xperia S was a mid ranger in h2 last year. Xperia Z is just like Xperia S. Xperia S had a good start but slowed after that we are already seeing that happen again Xperia Z felt down in Japan and UK chart. Last year Xperia tipo was big in India but so far Xperia E is not doing well. Xperia Z is not enough.

This is a IP58 certified phone. Impossible? Already done!

S800 is built on a new HPM process rather than traditional LP. Also it will rarely run at 2.3 GHz, there arent many tasks that requires that much sustained processing power
The Adreno 330 GPU also uses a form of scalable clock frequency so we might actually see improved battery life even under load for games as an example
Also it charges 75% faster than S4 Pro with wall charger, so i will take that over wireless charging anyday
