yes i heard that as well, sony will be providing another firwmare update in august 2007. i guess they heard our complaints and it shows sony is a customer focused company.

not bad, "customer focused company"...a customer focused company that reacts to customer complaints is not a company that does it's job as it should. go to russia and you understand that.

if you understand what is going on here, then you know what really bugs SE: apart from technical specs, an iphone hype just kills SE in any way. everybody wants and iphone and a p990i next to it seems like a silver and horrible brick. iphone does what people want to see and feel! and SE will focus on doing something like that as well, and they won't lose time in improving a p990i that is lost already. a p1i does not better in marketing and popularity than an iphone and until the p1i is available, the iphone will be cheaper.

who exactly cares about 3.2 mpx or 2 mpx camera difference if on a huge touchscreen on iphone you can scroll and flip pages and covers? a w960 or p1 (take whichever you want) looks like from the last century compared to it...the impact apple has, is what SE is focusing on, so they don't care about the customers and their p990i right now, it's just to keep the customers for the future and give them a sugar cube with a firmware update...
