Final v6.5 driver + configuration tool v0.2 BETA
http://downloads.wow-info.net[....]tiontool_02_BETA_by_raider.zip

driver changelog:

- improve: full compatibility with configuration tool
- change: driver file divided on three "base" versions:
CID36: no CC
W810: no CC, sharpness = 05
CID49: CC by Lpachuong, contrast = 01

- change: normal quality reduced to 85%
- improve: saturation separated for normal mode and EM/ENM/night mode
- improve: image filtering disabled in manual macro zoomed preview for better edge sharpness view
- improve: you can set in configuration tool on which quality you want EM to be always enabled
- improve: new scan ranges for autofocus (default is AF_MACRO_SCAN_MODE = 01)
Code:
SCAN_MODE | normal mode | macro mode
----------|-------------------|------------------------
00 | normal (no macro) | full (normal and macro)
01 | normal (no macro) | fast macro

tool changelog:

YOU SHOULD BE AWARE OF POTENTIAL PROBLEMS! REPORT IF YOU WILL FIND BUGS!
ALWAYS CREATE BACKUP OF CAMDRIVER FILE OR DON'T OVERWRITE FILES!
- new: file save added
- new: compression settings added
- improve: FAQ documentation supplemented
- improve: image filtering settings extended
- improve: better GUI work
- improve: much better recognition of the driver code compatibility with the tool

todo:
- documentation "how to adapt the driver code" (anyone interested?)

Good Work Raiderski

@Raider
Nice work buddy!
Question: If CID49 phones doesn't react to saturation command, why did you include it to CID49 driver?
One remark: In the config tool I don't know, which column of functions is for the driver and which is the list of functions only...

the best way to test this is...

1. use original sarmad 5.8 (compression values beyond the border of stability for K750/W800)
2. find scene on which snapshot in (~100%) cases = camera crash
3. replace in code cam_ss_jpeg_buf_size_8=927C0; to 96650
4. try snapshots of scene from point 2 with above small change
5. report results

and remember: even if you set very high compression values camera not always will crash. hardest scene to test stability: inside forest... a lot of details and big amount of green color (green color is saved on every taken pixel, green and blue on every second pixel)

I took lots of shots in my garden - grenn over green, trees and flowers, very detailed - but NO crash with line:
cam_ss_jpeg_buf_size_8=96666

I will keep on testing )

CID36 & W810 users:
remember about contrast = 0 (change to 1 if you think that your pictures are a bit dark)

CID49:
experiment with "Default WB correction" settings!
Sarmad 5.8: blue-yellow = f6 (more blue), magenta-green = fd (more magenta)
Lpachuong 7.8: blue-yellow = fd (more blue), magenta-green = 06 (more green)

i don't know. i didn't try to find good settings for this scenes. try to find them yourself or wait till someone will share this settings for us

salambaba
you can't do this in any driver. this is "balance", you always decrease one value if second value is increased

BOSSHOGG
i can but this list you can find in camdriver0.dat file (code: CUSTOMIZE FUNCTIONS, search for EV_M_20)

Tuner
my little oversight but without any influence on pictures
panel "Functions":
- left window = list of all driver's functions which aren't associated to EV values
- right window = list of EV values and associated with them functions

Randolph
thx! keep on testing

Coo|io
W800 36 and blurry pics with sharpness = 6? even with very good light conditions? strange
load CID36 driver version and...

@Raiderski
One hint about configuration tool:
The function for creating new WB modes is great, but I (and maybe others too) would appreciate possibility of adjusting predefined wb settings that you can find in menu (cloudy, daylight, etc.) and maybe possibility of adjusting WB for LED.
