Maybe its just me but I think that the k800 isn't as aesthetically pleasing as the w810.

K800, nice phone that it is, is a bit too square at the top. But looks are always subjective and most people change their minds about a phone once they hold it in their hands.

Have you guys seen the silver W810 posted in the Jamaican/Digicell thread? It looks brilliant.

It does look very nice, but I still prefer the black, maybe because it accentuates the Walkman orange and burnished-looking bits so well.

Such a damn nice handset; one of SE's all-time greatest-lookers IMHO.

This one is especially for mario2002 as I know he loves WiMax. According bizcommunity.com iBurst have won a licence from Icasa to operate on WiMax.

Here's the snippet from the guys over at bizcommunity.com:

The Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA) has issued wireless broadband provider iBurst with a WiMAX (World Interoperability for Microwave Access) spectrum, as iBurst is considering a WiMAX deployment. WiMAX is a family of technologies based on the IEEE 802.16 wireless standards.

Look are subjective, but i do agree that the k800 is a little too square for me.

I really am looking at other phones (Other manufacturers) but it feels like I'd be settling for second best if I don't get the w810. I really like it. My friend recommended the imate's but they aren't really my thing....

@ kryptic, I used to write emails to myself on my nokia 6220, long pieces, mail it to me and use it in blogs or wherever. very useful.

@ Rhino, good luck with the wapsite!

@ siosal, i enjoyed it because there were a few new ones. i heard that the duck one is actually wrong. and the gum, i tried it. unsuccessfully.will be sure to try the quicksand one if i am ever in that spot:)
