WoW thats good news so the best of Sony HW+Software

Will it be a totally new UI ? or more improvements to the present UI ? Hope they just add more features to the present UI.I love this simple and easy UI looks neat and clean.

I don't get this wireless charging business either. Sure it is handy but my phone doubles as a bedside TV / clock radio so I'd prefer to drop my phone into a charging cradle with external connectors like the Acro S.
For me, it's lots of reasons. I don't like the pogopins disturbing the look of the device. I don't want to buy a dock to then have to buy another dock for my next phone (I could just re-use a charging pad). I'd like to be able to let a friend use the charging pad if they need, even if they own a different phone. I'd like to have the device in a case and not worry about whether it fits in the dock, or needs a gap to expose the charging pins.
Plus, it's just a logical next step. Sony have worked hard on NFC enabled speakers that will stream bluetooth or wifi. Why can't I just put my phone on top of it to charge,
like this one.
I really want a proper universal wireless charging standard. Just think about it. You could build it into tables at restaurants. Into bedside cabinets in hotels. Into car mounts, or into the storage between the seats. Sure, you could do it with USB but it's messy and unrefined.

Thanks but that links to the user interface used in the Xperia S using Android 2.3 and/or 4.0. There is a slightly different one used from the Xperia Z onwards... ?

Really, there was no need for that.

Dude, UXP is Sony's UI. Do you need that written on a billboard for you?
Edit:
@ramu
Is the new UXP exclusive for the new Sony smartphone lineup? And would it be a major overhaul or just some minor design tweaks?

To be honest, he could have just said that, instead of all of this. Let's be reasonable guys - act like adults.
