...wanted to deck him today because he seems proud of it. he wanted to play it to my pal/boss today. he took off the headphones visibly disgusted and walked away. that chap is not going to last... centurion trailer trash.

Clive ain't my favourite person right now, although his views imho are pretty well-reasoned (well, most of em, anyway).
I must say though, that if one reads the exchange of comments on MoneyWeb, there seems to be an underlying tone that i cannot quite define. It's rather disturbing really.

W900 is a very good phone, just depends on who you are. I can't carry that thing in general so there is little point for me.

@Rhino8: Like I said earlier, nothing beats having the phone in your hand. When I first saw the leaked pictures of the K800 I got very excited but a couple of months later and on closer inspection of the proportions I got put off...still, my final judgement will be made when I hold it in my hand.

They are irritating me with their updating of ceratin areas without warning though.

If ever Vodacom wants to shoot itself in the foot, that would be a good way to do it...Those infrequent callers are all kids with little pocket money approaching "waitering" age or working age, and when that hits, "like an Active Virgin" they will be directing their hard-earned cash to some other network, not the one who strangled their social life for a couple of minutes/days/weeks.
Is it just me or is Telkom manifesting through Vodacom? It p!$$e$ me off...it p!$$e$ me off badly...but i am well into 250-400 a month, so i am safe....for now...until they make it that you have to sign over your sex life to stay connected...

@Brix, Yeah buddy you are right - I like WIMAX, especially if used in the non licenced frq. band. Technically speaking is illegal (the radio signal is not allowed to leave your property) but here in SA no one is going to give a sh!t and even if some nut head upstairs want to enforce that who would police it ? Most wifi networks ATM are illegal too, but no one cares. Give another 2 or so years and you will see why I go on about wimax.
Anyone knows when the N93 comes to SA?
