Is the new UXP exclusive for the new Sony smartphone lineup? And would it be a major overhaul or just some minor design tweaks?

Close to a major overhaul. Like the jump from 2011 to 2012 UXP. The second major jump since Sony Mobile's inception.

Will it affect the update speed of future Sony devices? since it might take more time to implement the UI to newer Android version

The Sony skin on my X10 mini pro was quite heavy actually to be honest - before I custom rom'ed it

Is it closer to stock Android? Imo the closer to stock the better, 'cause it should be easier to update and lighter = faster... Just added features and applications/widgets...
