Here is my 2 cents:
In a nutshell, the P990 is quite stable for general use. When one starts multi tasking, this becomes an issue as depending on the RAM demands of the applications being run, one may only be able to run a single application at a time or as many as 3!

Could you list some of those websites?
Try cnn.com
After a couple of pages Opera really slows down. With the previous version it used to close the application, not so much with the current R6 version.

It does open the page much slower but what I like with R6 is that I can scroll through it without waiting to be fully open. Also no app exit or phone restart, far from it.

@koto, depends on which applications you have running. Unlike the previous versions, I can run WLAN+RSS+Opera+FM radio without a problem and that is about the limit, which is good enough for me.

***********solja786**** my problem still exists. im in the correct "current time zone" and "home zone" which both are Eastern (im in ontario canada). im in the closest city possible in the list of location. i don't know what the problem is? i appreciate your help. i will continue to try and solve this.
i recently updated to the r9f firmware, befor that everything worked fine. hmmm.... i've contacted my service provider and they senta reset signal, which syned the times, but still nothing... my only guess at teh problem is , the "sms service address" under messages. i think that needs to be changed????????

@faz
Same thing happened to me because daylight saving time began early (March 11) in the U.S. this year. All of my messages were stamped and hour earlier than the clock on the phone displayed. The phone recognized April 1 as the beginning of daylight saving time so once that day passed everything was fine.
I'm Central, here are my settings:
Current time zone ----> Central Time
Home time zone ------> Central Time
Zone of interest -------> Greenwich Time

I seem to be unable to access the 'prefered networks' tab under control panel->connections->mobile netwoks. I was wondering if anyone else finds this, or does it only become available when you are away from your home network, ie. in another country?
