Yep, the 6.5 driver included in your pack, anythin more than about a meter is out of focus with macro on.

BOSSHOGG
this isn't bug... please guys, i recommend to begin read readme.txt file...

1. under point 6 - changes in final 6.5 (last change is about autofocus)
2. under point 3 - subentry 05

i use macro mode for macro shots (what is quite obvious) and i want fastest possible autofocus. why should i use long range autofocus scan in macro mode?

why are you using macro mode for normal shots?

Hello everyone.
This is my A4A - 8.0 with a new colour profile. This colour profile is applied on all modules and I hope you could spend a little time to test it for me. The same functions as before and there are 2 compressions: 1 is at 89% and one at 95%. If you get crash the please report me and I agree with what raiderski said about crash problem as I also tested many times with Power_Vano.

Please try it and tell me what do you think about its colour. There is no version is uploaded on SE-NSE.

Thank you.

PS:
Normal focus: always use macro + fine quality.
The angle of the camera will affect the exposure significantly.
At EV+2.0 you can try from zoom 1.0-1.4 for different colour correction at different situation (if you get blue the change to another 1 or yellow then change to a new 1). Set focus 1.1+ev2.0+zoom 1.5 for zoom in+infinity. I will try to improve this for u, terminator

man i used 95% compression 4r my w810i...
its a bit slower than b4..obviously it has to be due to higher compression..till now no crash..and ya i am getting files of the size upto 800+ kb
gud work buddy!!
keep it up...

and yeah thnx 4r mentioning zoom+infinity setting ..can zoom value be varied or it will be fixed by this?

I don't know exactly which command did you find so good?

Yes, macro is macro and I really dont like the original macro (41,%0). On my phone I use Raiderski's code and I like it, honestly.

@Raiderski: what do u think about ISO 500?

@Tuner: ??? I forgot

@Terminator: undecided yet

A4A-8.0 CT2

Hello everyone, today, I use my lunchtime to edit 8.0 ct1 and test 8.0 ct2. Here is the link: http://www.mediafire.com/?d00to1olmfb
(89% and 95% compression for CID49/36+w810i) (this version may be not as good as CT1 but please try it)

This version still goes with colour tests and I have added 2 more profiles and change to Raiderski's macro (I like it and it is also the true meaning of the word 'Macro')

-Fine mode: macro off= normal autofocus Macro on+autofocus for close range ~3cm-~30cm
- EV+2.0: profile:
* Zoom 1.1: for taking indoor pictures with daylight (I am not sure whether it works well with bulbs, hope you can help me test it)- Pictures will be produce at ~ IS0 500. Though at this ISO, normally the picture will be dark but the EM will bring light to it (It is impossible to keep the camera take pictures at a constant ISO)
* Zoom 1.2: for taking pictures of building: contrast is increased to 2 so that the edge of the building, the details on the wall will be shown up.
* Zoom 1.3-1.5: different colour profile for different situation( depend on colour temperature)
* Zoom 1.6: for infinity focus+max zoom in (I haven't fixed the code for u yet, terminator )

-CID49 user: what do u think about this sharpness comparing with the previous version.

If you test my driver, please tell me what is ur phone module. Hope you like the indoor pictures with EM now.

See you this evening

Have a nice day.

Driver v6.5.1 + Configuration tool v0.2.1 BETA

http://downloads.wow-info.net[....]iontool_021_BETA_by_raider.zip

changelog driver:
- improved: unsuccessful snapshot retakes increased (much lower chance of camera crash)
- improved: max quality of Fine increased to 91%

changelog tool:
- new: one or many profiles can be exported to file and imported from file
- improve: you can remove many profiles from the list at once

conclusion:
big step for K750/W800 users? i think so - more quality and much lower (if any) chance of camera crash. can someone test this in green forest or similar scenery? my test in city and park was in 100% succesfull

@lpachuong

Can W810i withstands 98% compression, i have been using A4A 8.0 with 95% compression. Rocking, better than your A4A 7.8.

If so can you tell me the settings.

I'm not sure about that and as I said, I agree with Raiderski that 91% is enough for our phone (Although I tried with 100% compression but it was not stable and risky )

Heiyei: You have a nice place to see the whole city.
