@ fatreg

search by postcode??

I select from the menu...navigate to.. address.... postcode then type in the postcode then i'm prompted to select from a list eg fisrt 3 letters of postcode followed with the town in brackets.. once selected the town i'm prompted to type in the street name then i select the street and then propted to type in the house number... then done..

I assume once you type in the postcode you are then prompted for the house number?

am i doing something wrong?

no thats right but you need a zip.zip file that i've not uploaded yet..

ooops..

ill get onto it now!

EDIT: right click here

unzip and copy the zip file to the root directory wher your tomtom is so ideally on your mem card et voila!

I have searched everywhere but cannot find a solution to a current problem I have.
I'm using TomTom Navigator 6 on a P990i. I originally had a BT GPS that lost signal every few seconds, thus I purchase the Holox BT321. While it now keeps the signal, the map doesn't update for 2-3 seconds at best, thus is practically unusable.
Any ideas? I've update from tomtom 6.020 to 6.21 via TomTom home and this has made no difference.

try to ensure that NOTHING else is running on the phone. sounds like you're running out of ram.

@binchie
What BT GPS did you have?
I have a BTQ 815. I just purchased it so I can't see if signal is lost or not.
