You can't get R5 at this point. It's only for developers... Just like R4 was around for a month or so before you could get it.

I talked with SE support today. Basically it was unrelated to the P990, the update program refuses to see my P900. Anyway, at the end I asked whether any fw updates might be coming soon. They don't expect the next fw to be out in the near future. Soonest we should expect is probably beginning of summer. Which translated might mean...sometime in 2007 ???

I seriously hope this is not true! I think SE should make a new FW based on some "tweak peaks + swiss mngr." inventions like. If a program like TP can make P990 faster how come can`t SE make it?
