I contacted t-mobile about video-calling and they got back to me and told me it is not allowed on PAYG phones - a billing issue they told me.
Can anyone confirm this?

Yep its true
Orange, Voda, O2, Virgin and 3 all allow there customers on PAYG and contract to use Video calling.
However T-mobile are the only one that only allow Contract customers to use video calling.
There is also no current date for when PAYG customers can use video calling.
Im on O2 my self and even though there isnt much of a 3g network I can still video call.
I would be really peeded of knowing that t-mobile have a gr8 3g network and you just cant use it.

Hows the batter on this phone if I was using it for mp3 playback for maybe an 90 mins a day?
My daily usage is about as follows:
Music playback: 60 mins
Calls: 20 mins incoming/outgoing total
Texts: 15 sent/received total
3G/HSDPA browsing: Photos: up to 20 pics some with some without flash
Time plugged in to PC for file transfer: 5 mins
My battery will last up to about 3 days before it starts moaning and I use R1DA038 Voda branded firmware at the minute (which supposedly has battery problems).

I've used a W800 for over a year before I got my K850 and I can't really tell much difference. But I use the 3.5mm jack adapter that came with my W800 and a cassette adapter through my cheap car stereo so I don't know if that would be a much larger factor. It seems about 5-10% louder than my W800 though but that might be my imagination and/or the custom acoustic drivers I put on my W800.
