If the phone is branded you debrand, if the phone is locked, the procedure is called unlocking and is a bit different compared to debranding... SO if you want so UNLOCK the phone search for UNLOCKING at totalgsm's site.

That would require patching which is not avalible on a200 phones yet.

in the past on phones like K750, this was not possible to be saved afaik. It's probably still hte same. There doesn't seem to be any info saved about this in the file system.

no, not bitrate or resolution if that's what you were hoping.
unfortunately experimenting with changing these attributes in K750/K800 led to unstable drivers. Video could not be recorded - it would crash upon starting.

No I mean changing the video codec. Newer A2 phones might probably have newer codecs don't they? or is the codec embedded inside the os?
