Thanks for everybody's opinions. I tried the infinity mode and it works great for all shots except close-ups. Spot metering doesn't seem to make a difference. Macro is sitll hit-or-miss. It's not a perfect solution but I'll see how it goes.

Could someone post a CDA for Generic NORDIC or S_E EUROPE firmware? I tried MANY and none works.
I managed to update my firmware with the one code posted above but it's for Asia and that CDA isn't anywhere in CDA file maker tool. None from the program work...

i've just updated my phone few hours ago, but I didnt notice any changes with facebook application (it was version 1.0.7). Could anyone here who have been succeed update their firmware share its customize.xml from their phone? And please share facebook apps jar and jad file.
Withdrawn its file from tpa/preset/custom and tpa/preset/system/ams.
I need it urgently

when you enter the media menu --> photos do you see facebook as one of the sub menu?
is Facebook in one of the sub menu for messaging?
anyway I didnt get anything to access the file system in the phone so I can't help much.

i didn't have that facebook menu into messaging. But i still have \"send to facebook\" option under photos option. Thats why i need your customize.xml and facebook*.jar/jad so i hope i could get into these to gather that.
Whhy not....u could use a2uploader to do that, use new version of a2uploader to do that task...use customize_upgrade.xml to withdraw those file from your phone.

Camera driver remain 2.9 so don't expect anything change on the camera.
BUT the biggest changes I can see.
1. When you able to restart the phone, your PC suite will not work!!! don't panic. SE seem to have introduce a new software called PC companion. once installed it will have a screen showing MediaGO and PC suite short cut. The companion SW seem to have come together when you update the phone (stored in phone memory ...permanent or not ...don't know)
2. When you plug in the USB cable, there's no default screen....I will try to see how to get it back. But when I check the USB sub menu, now it have support for Linux/ MAC etc for phone mode. Then I believe the media mode is now called MTP mode. Nothing about PRINT be found.
I think the biggest change is this one
3. New Facebook integration.
Facebook now have a short cut under the messaging. The way facebook show up in Standby screen also different...it have a small icon at the left side of the screen, like the RSS feed...after you activate facebook navigation, you can scroll up and down for status/ nofication etc.
If you view Facebook using the short cut in messaging...it give you a browser like experience which you can have a few tabs to view photo/ inbox/ status etc.
I believe the new software is mainly for social network improvement. I notice my phone respond better but it could be just that many junk get flushed out during the flashing process.
I've updated my C901 APAC-ANZ to R1GA028 last night.
1. PC Suite works from the very first time I connected my C901 after updated, but yes the phone is now not showing the option in standby screen but it's connected automatically.
2. Yes, there are more options in USB cable menu
3. I don't get it. The Facebook still located in the Application and in the standby screen it still the same: only the status is showing, no choice for scrolling the notification, etc.

it seems at Indonesia region (CDA customize region), we didn't got that facebook application update. I will test to use Singapore customized now....hope it will gave a new hope...heheheh...(nearly touch my limit for today at setool support forum)

No it doesn't. I tried it right now. Tried rev R4,3 n 6A What impact does that have?
I noticed when I tried to update phone trough SEUS it didn't recognize the phone properly with R4A...
