There is STILL a major problem :
Are they going to provide an A2.0 update (which means better usage of hardware: 16m colors, multitouch, etc) or not ?
Sigh.
I'm 99% sure that there WILL be an Android 2.0 update for the X10 as soon as Google releases the source for manufacturers who use custom Android solutions. These conspiracy theories don't hold much water unless another manufacturer comes up with a 2.0 set that isn't a Google experience device.
Why is this so hard to understand?
Incidentally, there's something you should know. There are G1 users that are running Android 2.0 currently, although no official ROM was ever released. There are also G1s that are running motoBLUR.
Hmm , interesting ...

After watching this video -
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iEdbJ9bIyN8&feature=channel ( the one posted in the previous page ), I'm really impressed and astonished, but I have a question - where are the rest of the options in the camera ( such as WB, geotaging and the rest ) or how to reach them?

Not being helped by SE being so very "careful" with their language.
Saying:
* Will the X10 receive Android 2.0 update (for those who bought from the initial batches with Android 1.6) ?
The UX platform used for Xperia X10 will evolve to Android 2.0 over time
Source
Is very different from saying when Andoid 2.0 becomes available on "general release" the X10 will be updated. Which would of course include the SE special apps which would be lost possibly using a cooked ROM.

I don't need to look elsewhere now. I'm determined to get this phone.
I agree with You. But the color choice is killing me! Dunno...
Killing me softly with this... phone, killing me softlyyyyyyyyyyy
I prefer the white one (it's very classy)

Hi Tibor,
X10 is very fast phone. Check
http://www.youtube.com/user/SonyEricssonDev and see that it takes about 3 seconds to start/load game. Try it on any other phone and tell me how many seconds it will take. I found that some viewers of that video said that it is few times faster than on other phones.
Also I saw that there are some videos where X10 looks very slow but the reason is that people have very old frrmware and they are not allowed to show it since it is not finished. Also it is not only old firmware but it is developer firmware and it is slower since we are logging everything in Dev. firmware and it takes time to log every detail in background. On Sony Ericsson official web sites and videos you can see latest firmware and even that firmware is old and slow compared with firmware available today. And it will be even better when the X10 hits the market.
Don't worry you will feel the power of 1GHz processor when it comes to games, productivity applications...
Best Regards,
Amir

and dont cripple the android SW with their own rubbish
Eh?
If anything, the SE additions have always enhanced the Core UI of the respective OS's, everytime they have customized one.
He ha you haven't used a lot of
phones have you! take a look at the X1
