This time round its for real.Ive got the massive 5.5 inch screen,2GB's of RAM,32+64GB's of storage,Quadcore CPU,SPen goodies,Android 4.2.2 on the way plus Key Lime Pie in the future and then all the S4 goodies andlets not forget an amazing battery life..Think I'm sorted for another year.
Glad you guys are enjoying your S4's.
It's a whole lota phone you got there Hobbs, certainly no point in upgrading until something really mind blowing appears, I expect Note3 to be more of a refined evolution of the Note2 like GS4 is to GS3, with a A15 Cortex, HD1080P display and more additions to Air View ,Air Gestures and SPen features.
What I'd love to see in the Note3 is further improvements to Multi View, maybe allowing multiple floating apps, there's a lot of room for improvement in that feature, they must go wild with it.
Just imagine:
Pulling out that app bar and being able to run all those apps in little windows for little tasks then flicking them back into the bar.

Smartphones vs. laptops: Of mice and... touchscreens
Defending the honor of smartphones is the Samsung
Galaxy S4 - the pinnacle of mobile phone evolution right now. In
the opposing corner stands the Lenovo Yoga 13.3" ultrabook.

I wonder why the GS4 Zoom had zoom in the name
I cant see it happening myself. Optical zoom lenses just aren't brilliant in mobile phones. If you drop them they become damaged so easily. If Samsung did release a more camera centric device with such a lens, id be very surprised if it sold in large quantities.

His very short hands on video.

Hes absolutely gobsmacked with the screen of the S4.

^ Agree.
Got to say the screen is outstanding. After my initial "it isn't much better than the S3" in terms of resolution, I can now say it blows the S3 screen out of the water.
The natural colours and the reduction in that saturated look are big winners for me.

@etaab,i cannot see it either. If they wanted to do optical zoom again maybe they should go down the folded optics route like many of the slim Cyber-shot cameras out there. But the problem with folded optics is more lens distortion. That picture looks fake to me with the zoom on it. The phone that skinny with huge zoom doesn't look right ir real.

Very nice 2week comparison by an XDA member who has both the GS4 and the Xperia Z, I've been reading since day 1, today he posted his conclusion, checkout the whole review:

Nice review and I agree on his conclusion. Having compared my S4 to my father's XZ there is no doubt which is the better phone. For me the battery, screen and camera are the most important. I have taken pictures of the same motives with both phones and the S4 is way better, pictures are sharper, have more natural colors and more details, when showing the results to other they are surprised by the difference in image quality

Some of the pictures I have taken are more than 10 mb

and the limits for uploading here is 4 mb so I have to do a little resizing first. . . . . . .
