Very nice indeed, I am thinking of doing the same thing but I really need to know how you removed the cover...shame you didnt take a step by step guide with pics of how you did it.

If you look at most of my (few) posts, it's that upgrade time of the year again!
I'm expecting delivery of a lovely V800 tomorrow, upgrading from a Nokia 6600 which I still regard as the best phone I've had (ask me again this time tomorrow though).
Anyway, one of my most used features on the 6600 is the ability to run bought apps on it, and the sheer number of apps written for the Series 60 platform. I know the SE Pxxx platform also enjoys similar numbers of apps, but what "platform" is the V800 based on? Is it capable of running apps in the same way as the 6600 or the Pxxx range? I believe they both run a version of Symbian, hence their capabilities.
I use IM+ for my instant messenger requirements on the 6600, and I know they do a plain Java version that works with the T610, so is this all that would be available to me - Java apps?

Sorry for not putting step by step guide on removing front cover but its so simple ! Put your finger nail under lower corners of cover(rounded end) and run your finger nails up both sides there is 2 clips either side and 2 at bottom these clips are tiny ! So be carefull !! and remember to do sides 1st .
Hope this helps someone do a nice custom job or something and we can start v800 gallery lol
Does anyone know where we can get original covers yet ?
Matter of time i think b4 we get any colour we want and rid of them nasty vf symbols.
Look foward to seeing some nice custom jobs !!!

Mmmm some crazy ideas are running through my head at the moment.... I know I will probably break mine when I try and open it so I best wait for some covers to be in stock first and then paint one there after...

@TimmyRaa,
V800 is not a symbian phone, so u can't install the software like in N6600 or SE P series.. It's just a phone..
