coz the S700 & S710 are intrinsically different in some fucntions:


S700 doesn't have advanced data capability- EDGE
And S710 doesn't have the music on the go- Radio

My phone was brought in the UK on vodafone when it first came out a couple of years ago, to debrand it I used the T28 cable with remote software.

Now I just use the data-cradle and it's on R3M008 (latest I believe)

the only problem is the customisation string says.

How'd I get rid of the hong_kong, it happened after I originally flashed it using the t28 a long time ago now.

it annoyed me as the phone was a uk phone

I've done it now anyway but after flashing with firmware the mic dosn't work :S trying some cda's to see what SEUS will flash it with.

forget about new FW for S700, R3M008 is the latest (for EU/EMEA region)
the phone is old and it's not manufactured anymore... buy W900

True, R3M is the latest for the EU or EMEA region. but anyone know what it is for the CHINA firmware? The 1st post doesn't contain anything bout it.
