UIQ was completely bought up by Sony Ericsson about 2 years ago.

Last year they decided to sell 50% to Motorola since both companies are developing handsets with UIQ.

I already mentioned that SE will tighten the two software departments.
So similarities are probable to occur in further software releases.

...But the UIQ image is 'advertising' the inclusion of flash by blatantly having youtube on screen there. Given that, surely it isnt down to UIQ being able to support it. Symbian doesnt mind, because S60 does it. It must be possible to have this on UIQ too. I wonder why its never talked about or anything though. I was really looking forward to being able to view any flash video with Opera mobile 9.5. So, even if we put that aside, when is skyfire coming along for UIQ? Will it support all these standards even if its UIQ? I dont care which browser or w/e I use, but I want the functionality.

Why is S60 so supported and UIQ isnt? Quickoffice, flash lite, apps, games, so many things are made for S60, but what about UIQ? I really hope the introduction of UIQ 3.3, with its more versatile and fully compliant JSR Java architecture will allow for much more 3rd party support.

Any word on T270i?

murderjon noticed it was removed from the German portfolio. I then checked the global portfolio, it vanished. Images in Media Library are also removed as well as the 'Related info' in the press release.

Strange one.

T270 won't be available in most parts of Europe. Only the T280 (& R306) will be, while the T270 and R300 will be for the Indian markets mainly.
