The standard black D600 is going for exactly the same price as well.

Right, the Symbian Smartphone Show is on again from 17-18 October.

I'm definitely going again, so I'll be taking plenty happy-snaps of everything on offer there again and posting these exclusively on our thread, as I did last time.
Off-topic, congrats to Jenson Button on winning his first Formula 1 GP.

What? Jenson Button finally wins a race...this is the craziest news I've heard all weekend.
Something crazier happened today- we had brilliant weathe. So good that I managed to spend the better part of the day at the beach but wait for this, tomorrow things are back to normal with a cold front hitting Slaapstad.
@da wanqsta: Any products expected to launch at the Smartphone Show?

@ da brixsta,
Yeah, Button was indirectly helped with both Alonso and Schumacher retiring.
WRT the Smartphone Show, I haven't heard a thing about any new developments from SE apart from what is now available, but maybe they'll use the show to launch the W950i.
Actually, the W950 is due to be available in September, according to O2's site, but if it's anything like the delays of the P990i, who knows...
Oh well, fingers crossed that SE'll pull a few more rabbits out the hat other than what we are expecting to see there.

Vodacom has this great talent to ruin songs by simply putting that disgusting meerkat in anything with it in. i dont know what is wrong with people, but the thing is disgusting. and now anything vodacom sports this ugly thing. i used to, in the past stop using certain brands because of annoying advertising. a little harder in this case.

lol...saw that be this evening...what irks me is not the meerkat and his dance moves but the pathetic attempts at rhythm displayed by the humans. At least MC Hammer and the kids of Rick James are getting paid.

And using white people...goodness, everyone knows whites don't nearly have as good rhythm as black people...
I am currently reading Bono on Bono, conversations with Michka Assayas. Really enjoying it. it is giving me insight into someone who in todays world still managing to inspire me. i am only on the third chapter, but i like it lots. my girlfriend sent me the book a couple of weeks ago.

@ francois: I haven't read the book, but I presume there'll be notable mention of his memorable phone call during one of the U2 concerts,I think during one of the disappointing Zooropa album (IMHO) tours. He made a big thing about how he somehow obtained the German ex-chancellor Helmut Kohl's number and phoned him during the concert, under the pseudonym that he occasionally used back then,ie. Mr. McPhisto...(his play on the medievel German folklore devil name of 'mephisto'...)

Hey Francois, i agree, that bloody meerkat is just a little too much for me, it was cute when they started their campaign, but it's grown boring.
