Why would you ask this question in a topic dedicated to the K750/W800 and obviously read by K750/w800 owners? I would politely suggest you use the search feature and search under software for the words W900 and Firmware. You'll most likely find the answer to your question.

Help. My phone is DEAD. How I can bring it ALIVE? It does not start at all, even in flash mode whith the C button pressed. My battery it's fully charged so this is not the problem. The phone broke from the last atempt to flash it yesturday. Any ideeas?

I have flashed my k750 to w800i. The firmware i have flashed to is R1BD001. Isnt this firmware newer than R1BC002???
Or is this one a test firmware.

And guys, in the W500i , when we send sms, the sms is send in the background after we hit the send button.
But in the w800 we have to wait and watch the progress bar till the message is sent. Can i have that function of the w550 in my w800?

i've just flashed my phone via davinci and the put some files whith far manager and now i am wondering if I cand update whit seus anymore. Now I have R1L and seus is telling me that I have the last version. Any ideeas?

Did you not flash the latest firmware with DaVinci? SEUS takes the CDA and IMEI number into account when you flash, and as they no longer match on your phone you will not be able to update through SEUS any more. The only way is to manually flash a later firmware, either through a third party supplier (DaVinci or Wotan) or by yourself if you have the knowledge.

Read the first post for all the information on firmwares you need. As fir tha background send, I am afraid this is part of the core operating system, so no you can't have this functionality on the W800.

how i can flash whit davinci the latest firmware free. I am meening the partial flashing because i can finalize manual whith far. as so far I succeded to flash whit davinci 13.7 whithout the finalization. I want to flash whit the latest firmware but davinci 13.7 does not recognize it. I need a newer davinci but to ask an unser and pass only if i select finalization.

I don't think anyone really knows. Unless you work for SE I don't think anyone can really say for sure. All we do know is that R1BC is the latest for the w800 and it may stay that way. If so I think this is a shame as I would like to SE finally address the Hissing/static noises in the W800 - after all it is meant to be walkman as well. I don't think SE have any excuses about the hissing as we now know that it is fixable. i.e. using far to copy phf_2_play.apf from R1L firmware gives quite acceptable results. Apart from that there probably isn't much worth fixing on the phone. And if SE are happy with what they have done they may not want to put out another update.

i have a crazy phone. I have the usb cable and the drivers instaled because i used my phone until today fine. Today after i copy a file whith FAR it no longer is recognize by windows. in normal mode nothing happends, even the sound tha windows make when connect a devince at USB is no longer. the only action is that is charging. In flash mode, ehne i press C and connect the cable it is starting normally and it is asking the PIN. i've tried hundred of times an succeded once. That time i've flashed whith DaVinci but after the flashing was over the problem reapers.the only difference than i press C is that is starting slower (2 sec before the screen turn on), if i connect whithout the c press it is starting imediatly. what can I do?

i think this is my problem except i already have the driver.
