Greetings from Greece. After 3 months of really problematic use (continuous reboots and freezings) yesterday I updated from 031 to 037. In one day I had 3 reboots and finally a BROD. I'd like a response from someone who's experienced BROD. Does SE replace or repair the phone? Shame on SE for their crappy-king phone... I've owned over 7 Ericsson- SE phones since 1998 and it's the 1st time I'm sooo disappointed of the brand... SHAME!!!

Quick which way is the bandwagon?
I see all these problems and it raises alot of questions. I upgraded to 37 as well and it rocks, better cam, faster, better media player. What I am beginning to believe is that the carrier is responsible for alot of these problems with their bloatwear.
I know 6 people with 850's and none have had a single problem yet so its either the carrier, the hardware or the user I think we can rule out the software, because if this was so EVERYONE would be having issues.

you see alot of people say this and my question is what did i do wrong ??
I used my phone in a normal way, txting etc etc and i got a BROD. I din't have loads of applications installed, I had a original theme, i played some games on it but this never caused it to restart.
TBH these phones should still be in testing stage, because there too unstable you cannot release a phone and say oh well you shouldn't do this and do that because you might break the firmware, phones are meant to be used not kept in a glass cabinet and looked there meant to be used day in day out and they should not break by someone using it in a normal fashion, not trying to test its limits etc because then you are asking for problems.

Been on 037 for close to a week now and the battery is WAY better. My phone is connected to my watch 24/7 via bluetooth and I easily had an extra half day from it. Usually its huffin and puffin on day 4 but this time it lasted the whole day. I am very impressed.

I'm on ea037, unbranded.
No Brods, finally had the 'H', cam now seems faster, less blurred pics.
Maybe the faults are based on the phone carrier's firmware modification. Can somebody confirm it?

Hi all,
I just upgraded last night to R1EA037. The UI is now really speedy.
To the author of the firmware history, pls add this to R1EA037.
Bug fixes
- Java applications that use an Internet connection now displays the internet connection icon when connected.
(I was able to confirm this when I ran Opera Mini, the internet connection icon showed up).
Unfortunately, this still was not fixed:
Adding a theme that customises the Media Player causes the background to turn black if rotated into Landscape mode. This did not occur in previous firmwares.
Anyone having problems with their R1EA037?

I've just tried to reflash with KK so I can change the CDA, but after two attempts (to make sure I really did have the CDA options checked, etc) it has actually failed to change the CDA. When you do a read info you'll see it's still the old CDA!!
Anyone else experienced this? I'm trying to set it to CDA 1202-5694 which is what my phone was set to before I fixed a BROD using Da Vinci / O2 firmware. Looks like I've wasted €8 credit

After reading about all this issues, I may also suggest that these bugs come either from EROM, either from FS part of the firmware. Maybe there are phones with initially bad EROM or there is something wrong with FS on early firmwares, which is in fact not updated by SEUS. I flashed my phone 3 times: full flashing to R1CA037 Russia and R1EA031 ADRIATIC and updating via SEUS to R1EA037. Neither BROD nor frequent reboots.
