Please X10 users post your frustration on low in-call volume on X10 here, we really need SE to take action ASAP:

I was just thinking, it'd be nice if there were different vibration alerts like there are ringtones.
I know the ring vibrate is different to the notification vibrate but to be able to select from a list of different vibration settings would be good so when on silent in a meeting I can tell if the vibrate is an email (probably can leave till later), text (probably the girlfriend), Google Talk IM (probably needs answering right away) or just a system message (e.g. battery life).
Is this an OS limitation or just no-one in the office thought of it or can be bothered to implement it?

I found an application which could change vibrate pattern some months ago & it was working great on X10. I didn't use it much, so don't know if there was so much customization as you wanted

but still it could be useful for you if i would have remember the name of application

It's called Smart Vibrator, but it allows to change pattern only for SMS and calls (also for different contacts).

Hi Guys.
I'll be trading in my Black X10 for a White one next week and I was wondering what steps I have to go through to ensure my phone data is completely backed-up and ready for transfer.
My contacts have been backed up using the on line service from Sony Ericsson.
Media will be on the card so it will just be a matter of swapping the Micro SD.
What's the best way to back up my Apps and is there anything else I should know.

ASTRO has that functionality...backing up your installed applications.
