ok, i flash my phone with kk, and change my cda to 1200-4398 R11A, WESTERN-EURO, but still cannot update via seus, please help!!!
I've just tried to reflash with KK so I can change the CDA, but after two attempts (to make sure I really did have the CDA options checked, etc) it has actually failed to change the CDA. When you do a read info you'll see it's still the old CDA!!
Anyone else experienced this? I'm trying to set it to CDA 1202-5694 which is what my phone was set to before I fixed a BROD using Da Vinci / O2 firmware. Looks like I've wasted €8 credit

I don't think KK does a full flash like da vinci, da vinci totally reinstalls the firmware as KK only does one bit. Try with da vinci, it worked for me

Kulankendi does a full flash and changes the CDA, that is how I changed the CDA on my k850. If you have problems with kulankendi contact the author on the gsmhosting forum, he might take a day to answer but he is usually a very nice guy and solves these problems.

there seems to be confusion about what a BROD is again.
People are saying they got one, then restarted and it was fine.
From what I've been reading.. that's not a BROD - D=DEATH and requires a SE centre to bring it back to life.
Are people still getting these? .. or just the random reboots?

Well, mines just about dead now!
I say just about as it does turn on, but won't stay on for more then 2 seconds, however, if i put my ancienct Orange PAYG sim in, its ok. That might only be down to the fact that i have no credit on it anymore, so it can't do anything, stopping my push mail and rss feeds.
But if i can't use my current sim in it, its about as usefull as a towel at a nudist beach tbh!
For now i'm using my S500, and see if i can revive my poor K850
I also think it might be something wrong with EROM, as i've had the phone since release, it might not have always been ok. Faulty EROM is what killed my W850, which still sits in my bedside table as a handy paperweight!

I never got any reboots - just straight into a BROD. Having to wait weeks for it to come back from repair, in the mean time I've had to use my old Samsung D900. I'd like to use an old SE, but my K750 keyboard doesn't respond and my S700 boots with a white screen.
For the remaining months I have to endure this POS, I will always carry a spare phone (I am often abroad for weeks at a time) as I cannot rely on it.

@sandy4464
It could also be a faulty simcard... I know you have tried orange simcard... try a different one of the same network and see if you get any problems....
If not... Just ring up the network and get a replacement sent to you...
Cheers

I will give that a go, quite a few T-Mobile users round here.
Only thing is, i'm now using the same sim in my S500 with no problems, could it only be faulty in my K850?

Quite possibly... it has a problem on the K850i... but would work fine on another handset...
Its happened to me, that is the reason I made this suggestion to you.
Cheers
