So Sony has no plans of releasing a Tegra 4 device? I was hoping for a Tegra 4 Walkman...
There will be no Walkman players

Only players with headphones like the W series. No successor to Walkman A/S/F/Z
This is sad sad news

S800 Tablet - Yes
One Sony - No
@Tapas
Yes One Sony has IR blaster
So is the S800 really such a better processor/so much of gamechanger , that it is worth getting the C680X "One Sony" instead of the Dogo or C670x (disregarding all other features for just a moment) ?

I had to register because this is rather shocking news to me. If this is true, then it will be a sad day. I knew something was up when nothing was leaking from Sony about any walkmans yet, granted most people are not buying many dedicated MP3s players anymore in north america or even europe, japan is another story...
I do have on question randomuser, how certain are you there will be no more walkmans to replace the current lineup? 100%

As certain as you can be considering smartphones have almost singlehandedly cannibalized the market

Great, sounds like I will make the One Sony C680x the phone I'm waiting for because my contract runs out in September so that's perfect timing

Hoping it gets a 64GB version of it too...

Currently no smartphone for me comes close to the sound quality of the current walkmans, even the E-series is better than any smartphone for me. Also not sure if any current smart phone comes with built in active noise cancellation.
Anywho, I was wondering what the timeframe for the 7 inch Sony tablet was? Will it be a IFA debut or much later? Currently looking forward to both the tablet and the phablet, if the pen is anything like the Note's pen, then I may have found a replacement for my S2 finally.

Guys it's so logic , the dedicated MP4, MP3 player will be merged into the Mobile Phone , and i think the next flagship iterations will have the superior sound that the walkman had before
