Ok inside info.
The update will be on the SE website from Wednesday this week.
(This still may change though) but currenlty its set for Wednesday 06092006.

i dont suffer from all of the countless bugs everyone seems to complain about... I'm just hoping for camera or bluetooth (currently incompatible with Acura handsfree cars) updates.

I sure hope so. I wouldn't want an update to be released just for the K800i.

thanks for the reply guys from my post earlier but do you think SE will do anything for my phone if i don't have my pakaging or anything from the purchase of phone execpt the hardware components? would i still be able to obtain a warranty since the release date of this phone was a couple of months ago?

If you have the receipt and the purchase documentation then you are golden. This is usually all you need. Who keeps the packaging.

Considering the phone is only a few months old from a sales standpoint, it should be under warranty however you never know. Good luck.

In sweden (everywhere?) se seems to have a one week limit for doa returns. Older than that and the phone will be sent for repair instead. Mine was actually eight days, but I refused to have a brand new phone sent for repair.
