yeah. im afraid the more shots that get leaked out, the more i get convinced. like i said, i think it's going to be 90% what these spyshots look like. i really hope they change that joystick+softkey area though. there's too much banding, and the curves+straight lines look they're going after is not quite effective (that's just an opinion though). And that back!! I hate that back!!
btw, i hated the Wilma spyshots to the last bone (i'm still not raving about the black K800 anyways
), but I'm head over heels in love with my silver K800

But hey, people always tend to hate SE spy shots, including me, and end up liking or loving the phone's design in the end. I think the Ai is one of those phones which you really need to hold to admire.

The big question will be... what design-direction will they continue in for this successor of the K800i. Will it have the design like:
Exterior:
- The K600i, K800i and W880i (Ai)... with the, what I like to call "Frankenstein head", huge space above the screen where the camera is... and with very straight lines and no roundings.
- K610i, V630i, K618i and K770i... round forms and a small space above the screen with a not so dominating useless camera for videocalls. I prefer this
Navigation:
- Joystick (K800i, K320i, K750i, K610i)
- Round navigation pad (W810i, K618i, V630i). I prefer this
- Cut navigation pad (K770i, W770i, W880i)
Numeric keys:
- Regular (K800i, etc). I prefer this
- Ultra thin ((K770i, W770i, W880i, P990i, P910i)

Well it seems there is to be a departure from 2006 designs. So far most of the spypics we have seen have shown handsets with more metal, slimmer and with straighter lines. It seems Sofia is the most highly-guarded of them all. I'm wondering if it will be much bigger than the K800i.

It would be nice if Sofia can keep to the K750 size as opposed to K800.........as the I-Mobile 902 manages to do so, with similar(if not the same in some areas, i.e: cam module) hardware componentry.......

@ goldenface, some things changed, but some things stayed the same. This Cyber-shot K770i is in line with the SE's of 2006 (K610i, K618i, V630i, etc) only the keypad is different and the W880i has the looks of the K800i and K600i, but again with a different keypad. It will be really interesting to see what they will do with Sofia. It's said to be the size of the K610i, which is small, but when you think that it could have a 2.2" screen, the phone would be amazingly small. Time will tell.... But like Aware said, the i-Mobile 902 is about the same size as the K750i, so SE can't afford to make it bigger than that.

Look at a few phone which looked horrible, but turned out great:
But those were ALL essentially the same as the spy photos! Same shell, casing & decals. BTW the W300 pic on the bottom was compared to a Z300 2 same designed phones that are different - Walkman vs NON walkman.
Which makes me sad of the Ai photos.

No facour for sony ericsson nay more ..its w810 was big failure.. mines dont give sound and camera neer opens so i wud only say tht i wont buy any other SONY ERICSSON whether it wud be AI or 5 Mp Camera Phone ...
