I just bluejacked somebody in the bank yesterday.

I was waiting for my deposit transaction when I decided to do a bluejacking expedition. Lo and behold there was a Nokia7650 somewhere near me. When I looked around there was someone in front of me who was playing with her phone. So I sent her Satan's Business card complete with "call me ASAP" remark and 666 numbers!! hahaha...then...the infamous nokia beep!!!

I bluejacked her about 6 times...I was hiding behind a newspaper so there was no way she could tell it was me (having a small phone also helps ya know!!). Totally freaked out she shows the messages to her husband...with another brick (9210) hanging out his belt. And he has no idea what the hell was going on!! Nokia users here in the Phils. are just totally clueless...considering the volume of 7650 users...only a small percent actually know the poor implementation of bluetooth in their phones!!!

out of curiosity, i tried sending a contact by bluetooth to my friend's 7650 and found out 2 things-- 1) my friend's 7650 did not beep but just displayed a message asking if you wanted to accept an incoming contact and 2) it was displaying the name of the phone which was trying to send a contact

so all those times i failed trying to send ocntacts to a 7650 were times that the owner did not accept, and all those times the name of my phone was being displayed. this is why we name our phones "club nokia", so that owners of nokias would be persuaded to accept the file. who could resist accepting a file from their precious nokia club hey.

i agree with you vwbeetle. when you are bluekacking, it's hard to send coz the user has to be infront of his/her phone and he/she has to accept the connection. there are no alerts to notify the owner you are sending to. so if the person you are sending to has his phone on his pocket/bag, there is no way you can send him the file.

I tried for the very first time to get on Esato last night with my t68i... entered user name then password, but it just kept coming back to the login screen. I figured it was an isolated problem for me. maybe not??? roger

Hi all,

My first post on this thread but i spose i've been "bluejacking" 7650's for a while now. I thought of the idea but then decided it was shit because on my t68i it had to be set to discoverable, after realising from a mate that nokia's are all set to discoverable i realised that i could cause mayhem, hehe. The funny thing was that the 7650 user who told me nokia's can allways be set to discoverable was actually trying to put down my t68i saying i cant leave it discoverable! Anyway i've sent a few pics to 7650's in the bus line which i thought was funny, but after reading about sending business cards it makes so much more sense, tommorrow i will be out and about! took me all night to read this thread, and 2moro my p800 will be arriving, so hopefully 2moro will be a very good day for me! These ideas are great though, am gonna have such a laugh... in fact i'm laughin now thinking about it, hehe...
