Hi, I will be the 1st to admit that I am a complete rookie in this department, i am entirely new to downgrading, hacking or even upgrading as i have never bought a phone that has disappointed as much as the Satio.

Anyway, I am trying to downgrade but in the tutorial it says:
"Use this file to downgrade to R1CA037 using my tutorial: wngrade2R1CA037-10-03-2010.zip"" target="_blank" rel="nofollow]http://www.speedyshare.com/fi[....]ngrade2R1CA037-10-03-2010.zip"
I'm probably just being a bit thick here but what do i do with that file do i copy it to somewhere, execute it with something or what?
I can follow it fine after that with regard to the debranding its just this 1st step I'm confused about.

Thanks

I haven't been too active on this site but I feel my Satio should be as powerful, efficient, and multi-everything as it looks so I'm back on the forum to tweak the Satio to be a mega smart phone. I already have R1CA037 and I see people are upgrading and downgrading left and right, which would be the wisest thing to do? Should I be upgrading from R1CA037 or staying put with what I have already?

I understand upgrading from R1CA037 to the next will disable hacking/hellooX2? are there any other cons to upgrading?

I know there are lots of phone enhancements to look forward to, I heard up to 50% more battery life?

I have downgraded my Satio to a mindless retard by upgrading to 006 AFTER 4/15 when SE has made it unhackable.

Now I am stuck with a POS 006 firmware and unable to downgrade back to 037 because the Satio Debranding driver is NOT working for me.

I was so happy with the Kokoro patch too, now I have NOTHING. *TEAR*

Hi

I would like to downgrade my satio, but the file I need is on speedyshare. But it looks like the site is down as all
I get is a 404 not found or if I just go to the web site all I get is 403 forbidden.
It's been like this for the last few days, could someone upload the file else where thanks

Supposedly this is the file you need

http://www.speedysha...-10-03-2010.zip

I hope it works for you because it didn't for me, I've tried twice today to replace the file into blobs_fs folder into 366 and 375bytes but it didn't work for me.

Edit: I just tried out the link and it didn't work, which is a suprise because it worked earlier today, I guess you'll just have to keep trying until it works.

Hi Monaco

thanks for the link but I think the server is down as i've been trying for the last few days and it's not working.
I read somewere that a few people have had the same problem like u but it ended up working after giving it a few
trys. I had problems with debrading my satio so what I did was to delete se update program and install it again then it worked, give that a try mite work

maybe later today, honestly it is so hard for me to sit in one place for so long to wait for this to happen. I spent 5 hours today trying to get it to work, what a waste of time.

So you're thinking I should just completely uninstall the SE update software and try it all over again from scratch?

Thing is...everything is simple to follow but the only 'wild card variable' would be the file that you're supposed to replace inside of the blob_fs folder. The only info he gives us is to take out the one with 370bytes of size, I don't even have 370bytes of size, only 366 and 375 are the closest. One that thing is interesting though, is that the size of the file YOU'RE looking for is 370bytes.

I believe I have the file on my other computer, give me your email and I'll email the file to you.

So there's no way of downgrading now?

Hey Mike, the answer is in this thread, just read back about 10-15 pages and look for links to Lollylost100's tutorial, if I straight up give you the answers directly, you won't be as informed to do this the right way, all it takes is to read as much as you can about this and trial and error for the tutorial. good luck, its gonna be a headache and you're gonna have to jump through other blogs and forums. I still don't have the final answer myself.
