Guys, i have found so far to get the BEST results from Witchking's new VHDR mode, you may have to use spot focusing, or try to lock in exposure somewhere in the middle , where the scene is not too bright or too dark..
If there is not enough light, the VHDR mode will not work very well, and you will get lots of noise. If you are able to provide the lens with a little more light, you can achieve the desired result. (see below)
Here is an example..
AUTO
VHDR
VHDR w/spot focusing (or locking in exposure in a part of the scene which provides a little more light)
The entire scene is exposed beautifully

and very close to how it really looked in person
You can see with a little extra preparation, you can achieve the desired result, but every scene will be different depending on how much light/shadows are present.
hope this helps..

I've gone Satio too...I like the 'best pic' on the Satio. It takes more pics and you can save more than one, even all of the pics...camera could do with a bit of the Witchking magic touch though.
on C905 You can SAVE ALL PICS,
When you shoot them, you have an option SAVE ALL

its very easy, all you do is..
1. Go to the manual settings2 tab in the camera options
2. Click on the "AE Lock + Colour Filters" option.
3. Exit the settings screen
4. Raise the EV+- value to +0.7
5. Take amazing VHDR picture

Last night where i live there were lightinings all over the place, and i tried to catch it in photo. But i failed, because they were too fast, even with best pic i couldnt take photo atleast of one of them. Soo, i got an idea - maybe best pic could save not 7 pics, but more?

like.. 20

It could be usefull taking nature shots, or something like that.
