I think SE has to make the availability of Xperia Arc sooner than April, 2011. By that time, a lot of new and better products will have been announced totally outshining Xperia Arc. The likes of Samsung GS2, LG Optimus 3D and the list goes on. Plus, Motorola Atrix 4G will be released next month. Spec wise, we all know the Atrix has the upperhand so it will surely affect the sales of Arc. If the Xperia Arc had dual-core processor, then it would have been ok. But sadly, single core processor is all we are getting. The best solution, I think, is to release Xperia Arc at the same time as the Motorola Atrix, next month.

I say bring the price down of the Arc and make it a higher mid-range solution. Then they should come out with an Arc 2, with a metallic body, a dual-core proccy, qHD OLED/IPS display.

I don't really think most consumers care whether the processor in their phone is single or dual-core.

Heck, I don't even care.

What? only 2 cores? Why not go for the 4 core ARM9 processor and 4 core PowerVR graphics from the PSP2?

NGP is Sony, xperia is Sony Ericsson no comparison possible between these two. I must ad that Sony had already helped Sony Ericsson with Exmor, Cyber-Shot, Bravia and Walkman. Now it's Ericsson's turn with dualcore and LTE.
