I'll be getting Z1 though! wish there was more news on C6906 availability.. all the lack of info about it is very frustrating for a consumer in my situation!

im with you on this one. Well at least this time we know for sure there is a version which will support the At&T LTE. I was really hoping they would release a Z that would, but eventually I got the HSPA+ version because I couldnt make. Doesnt this bring back memories though? remember when 3g came along and we had to wait for a version that supported the 850mhz for AT&T? T616, S710 anyone?

Ive been using SE since T68 and since then almost all my phones are SE. I had 2 that wasn't, one from Samsung (flip phone) and iphone. I always go back to SE. People can bash SE all they want, im a fanboy and I admitted it. SE always had the thing that attracts me to get another one, even with some of the horrible releases. Ive always told people, if you dont like it, move along to another brand. I really dont need to know why you dont like it. I like it, and thats why they get my money.

T68, T616, S710, w800, w900 (oh god i loved this phone), w910, m600, k850, Z610, S500, X1, X10, Arc, S, Z. I've been through the good times, bad times, and in my pockets, its always Sony. Hopefully I can get my hands on the Z1 to replace my wonderful Z.

^great video comparison. the shakes seem to coincide with the steps to me. htc one seemed to have refocusing issues toward the end third. Z1 is definitely impressive.

@Gok - for sure. but hopefully we won't have to wait too long for an AT&T LTE compatible Z1.

I'm so happy the Xperia Z1 now offer 8MP widescreen format.
Its quality is once again unparalleled and I'm referring to those shots from:

I particularly like those pictures from Paris and even at 100% crop the picture quality is in a league of its own.

i would love to see side by side comparisons on the same video. for example.. build a hand held contraption that held 3 phones. then begin recording video and walking the same path holding the single handle. all 3 phones would be effected by the same shake/bounce of the steps and would film the same exact walk/scene. then having them all side by side in one video would allow us to see the differences in color, speed of focus, speed of transition, and image stability.

now if someone wants to send me a Z1, G2, and HTC one, I'd be happy to do this for you all

randomuser, istn't Z1 shot a 8 mpix one? Z1's 20mpix don't look good at all. A coparison with G2 and S4 would be nice, but with full resolutin shots.
