i don't think it's the easiest way to compare camera quality before and after with macro pictures...
here's two pictures i took before and after...

(before update, R1A044)


(after update, R1J002)


they look about the same to me...
actually, i think they look better after the update, the color is more like it really is.

Hmmm,

Have you shut down your firewall and pop-up blocker (just a wild guess 'cause i'm out of ideas)?
Can you use the cable for file transfer and such?
Have you rebooted the pc?

Lol you people have got it bad. If there wasnt a problem with your phones in the first place then you should have never installed the latest firmware.

Although some of the bugs in the old firmware have been fixed, SE seem to have messed up some of the good features of the phone it had previously.

e.g. recording quality

Wait untill SE have finally got the firmware sorted.

Yep, i blame myslef for this partially, nothing wrong with mine, typical 'grass is greener' attitude and now my phones now working properly.

Im a little worried about some of things im hearing with the new FW (vid quality) so i think im going to take mine to O2 and get it sent off and flashed back to the old firmware. SE seem to be taking a while to get this new operator specific FW out.

how do i update my phone, I've tried updating trough SE's site but it just doesn't work...as i post in the picture, i do everything that's asked of me but the thingy, or the update bar just won't move...i've given it 3 hours now and it getting silly =S what's wrong?? and if you have any solutions please give me a detailed explanation =P thx

I've just noticed that I can't transfer files to my laptop from my K750i (R1J).

The phone is recognised by the pc and i can receive files sent from the pc to my phone just not the other way round.

Anyone else noticed this?

Edit: did some more testing: i can use it as a modem and all
But when i send a file it connects and immediatly says file sent (on the pc as well, yet nothing is received)???
