I used an MW600 with my old G502 and did not notice any difference in battery life. With the very short range BT has it hardly use any noticible amount of power. Even with a BT headset I doubt you would notice any big difference in battery consumption of your X10.

@mode

Our wired headsets that came with the our UK X10s were also MH500. Same as Maratonmannen said.

@Maratonmannen & Ricky D
Ah, just the kind of answer I've hoped to get from you good lads. Thanks a gazillion

@Arne Anka
I'm aware that Bluetooth is a technology created to transfer files wirelessly and energy efficiently, but with the X10 I do feel like I need to sustain every little ounce of its battery juice and wired headsets keeps my mind at ease

Then perhapaps I can recommend the MH810 that came with my X10 mini. You get some additional
buttons on it to control your mediaplayer (a bit more expensive than MH500).

Thanks for the suggestions mate. I'm actually looking for the wired one though as the battery life on the X10 is not exactly what I call impressive. I've been trying to find out high and low with no avail so I really do appreciate your help

I don't use my wired earphones, what is the going rate?

Hi Trimmy, try to use another sim and see if the problem is consistent with another sim.

I had a similar problem with my X10 Mini Pro where I thought my phone was dead... Turned out to be a defective SIM.... the new 128k SIMs are quite sensitive as is the X10, the SIM tends to overheat and shuts down the phone. Also, try to see if the phone works without any SIM inserted.
