Thanks a lot for all thoses news ! Can't wait for the next Sony Honami, I was going to buy Nokia 808 Pureview because it's the last smartphone that provide great picture quality indoor (thanks xenon flash ), but when I saw honami news, hope it will be true !!
If Honami is for Europe, and really has last Sony Hardware (with Qualcomm S800 ), and xenon flash with Carl Zeiss optics like my olds N82, N73 & N95, we will FINALLY have a good android phone with xenon flash and good indoor/nightshot quality !
I hope Sony will reveal more details soon, and then relive the forgotten photophone community

Hmmm, really do wish we could see Sony port some of their optical image stabilization tech from their handycams into their phones. That shit's like frickin' black magic, it is!

Anyways, would anyone be so kind as to sum up the current rumors we have for the cameras in the 2H flagship? AFAIK it's 1/2+" sensor size, 13/16/20 MP... what else is on the books?

Would be nice to see a xenon flash, maybe even a pop-up one like on the Cybershots, but I guess that's too hopeful this early.

I'd prefer HHT (hand Held Twilight) over OIS anyday, afterall the latter is only useful for lowlight photography when we talk about smartphones. and HHT does it better considering Sony's advancements in pixel microstitching technology in their Cybershots. I don't get the hype about that tech anyway, unless a smartphone would have a zoom lens like Galaxy Camera, I don't think it'd be extremely useful on a camera with a (fixed) focal length of just few millimeters.

damn..sony can consider use this panel too

In terms of LCD smartphone panels, AUO will unveil a series of display applications ranging from 5 inches to 5.7 inches, adopting AHVA technology with LTPS production process, or Hyper LCD technology. These panels are equipped with full HD resolution or HD720, and wide viewing angles. In particular, AUO's 5-inch Full HD AHVA Mobile Display has full HD resolution of 443ppi (1080x1920), satisfying consumers' ultimate quest toward exquisite image quality. The design of super narrow bezel with a mere 1mm-width from display area to touch panel border maximizes the display area available, making image and video viewing area larger in frame size.
