i thought k850 only supported upto 4GB memory cards :S have you tried turning it on without the memory card inside?

Theoretically you can use up to 32GB micro SD-HC

Hi all. I recently updated my phone (k850i) & now it's turned into a brick, whenever I take battery out & try to turn it on, it vibrates, all lights on keypad flash blue & so does camera hole. Tried using SEUS already to fix it. had this problem with my k800i as well, typical!
I have an 8GB SanDisk M2 in it. Does this make a difference?
What should I try before sending it back on warrenty? Because i'd really like to be able to get back my pictures & contacts & all the software on it etc. Also if I do what is suggested am I voiding my warrenty?
All the best,
Wilko
If you stored all your Pictures and Software on the M2 then you are able to keep all your pictures. In fact, you should remove your M2 before sending in your phone for a warranty claim.
Your contacts however remains in the phone. Unless you use your SIM card to store your contacts.
If you do send it for warranty, More likely than not, your phone contents will not be removed unless it is deemed necessary. The problem with your phone seems to be more of a hardware problem rather than a software glitch. So barring any unforseen circumstances, you would be able to retain all your contact details.
Logically, what I'd do is keep the M2, and send the phone in. That's the best way out.
If your phone is really a brick, there's nothing that anyone can do really. It's back to the factory I'm afraid.
Hope that helps.
To be honest the reason i'm asking is because I don't have my photos stored on my M2, I wish I did.. I have contacts stored on PC & Sim Card but the photos are only on the PC.
When I say "Brick" I really mean that it won't turn on past the blue lights on on the keypad & the camera & also the vibration as it turns on. Then screen stays blank. Have tried SEUS but was wondering about applying an old firmware somehow or resetting it in another way by using software mentioned for fixing k800is that have a similiar problem.
All the best,
Wilko
