IMO it could have been made to generate false hype so when it's finally announced then users will be disappointed as they had higher expectations. Maybe from a competitor? Lol
That's exactly what I thought...

@pakman786 my k850 transfers over bluetooth ca 2007 BlueTooth v2.0
this is bad, the fake brochure made its way onto GSMARENA and eng/giz love picking up stories from them. its very sad though.

yeah I know, my k750 from 2005 does as well, but the current android devices like HTC Hero for example are not capable of doing simple BT-filetransfer. and thats why I asked here, coz nearly every single SE-Device is equipped with nice BT-Features (with Filetransfer being one of them
). Will the latest revision of android offer this as well?

I think Android 2 should offer it. SE are not the types to skimp on connectivity, and in my experience have always had very good Bluetooth in all phones. So I doubt they would start using an OS like Android until they can definitely have things such as Bluetooth working as their consumers would expect.
People generally blame the phone manufacturer, not the OS developer, so having useless Bluetooth would make SE or any mobile manufacturer look bad. I bet there has been a huge call from all manufacturers to get Bluetooth in there and working fully.
