@kristianm
Dont worry, the W800 is always second.

Hi,
I compared the acoustic files in R1CA021 and R1DB001
and found that only the following files differ:
handset_0_call.aec
PHF_1_play.apf
PHF_2_play.apf
PHF_play.apf
The new acoustic files did not solve the hissing problem
for my K750i ...

Yep, as per KnasBalls finding I have found that PHF_1_play.apf, PHF_2_play.apf and PHF_play.apf have changed. However, I am still running R1BC on my W800 and am relying on the copy that quickshare kindly sent to me. I found when I copied all accoustic files across to my W800 I got the worst sound I have ever heard through the headphones. i.e. low volume and really muffled low volume sound at max vol. Yet, if I only add the R1BD ver of PHF_2_PLAY.APF to my suite of R1BC drivers I end up with pretty much the same result as using my loud V2 driver - There may be a slight reduction in volume but it is so slight it's probably not worth mentioning. I'm still testing to see if I can gain any other impressions. So, for this very reason I would like to see a lot more feed back from others as to what their impression is on the sound quality. If my suspicions are correct I think SE may have made a mistake with the accoustic files.

the new firmware is absolutely soooo unsuccessful on mp3 performance.
Maximum volume is slightly lower, let's just say like one bar.
Playing quality is reduced, it just sounds like a noise filter is applied on tracks.
Equalizer presets are less effective, especially there's almost no difference on Mega Bass.. That used to be great on r1ca021...
I am totally frustrated with this ''downgrade''...
I wish I hadn't done the upgrade......
