The n80 was my second choice phone when i got my w900i, and i frequented the threads concerning it quite a bit, and eventually considering the pro's and cons of both decided symbian have to wait: it was considered bulky and uncomfortable to use and buggy by its users at that stage. so i decided to switch to se. i made a good choice:)

I mean, even my phone is considered bulky, but i got the hang of the feel quickly, a bit longer than with nokia, but i was recovering from couple of straight nokias. the phone i got, despite the cons is great. i am just so happy i dont have to choose one at this stage: the choices are getting tougher by the day.

it is great having 2,5gb of space:4gb will be a joy with the n80

@786KBR: Why is that N80 so cheap...I mean free on Weekender...that's ridiculous, not even my N70 was free.

Its not cheap!!!!!
Its verrry expensive!!!!
If you on a T500 and if you want to upgrade to it you have to pay in +-R1500!!!!!

Its just a very very good deal, in terms of deals!!
My advice, take it, sell it for R5000 (Ull get that!!) then buy a K800!!
And youll have an extra 1500-2000 in your pocket!!

@786KBR: How much do you think I'll get for my N70...it comes with a slight scratch on the sliding mechanism but otherwise it's in mint condition.

@786KBR: So do we have an idea of what the K800 will go for when it eventually goes on sale. I'm mildly interested, will probably get a new handset around December/January but sussing out early to check on availabity and prices.

Or could I be daft, head over to Vodashop, demand another phone, hand in my brick and pay the difference...R1500 should not be too bad if the new object of my desire is either a W850 or a K800.

Just asking you before I make a proper fool of myself.

Brix, have a look on BidOrBuy, it ought to give you a fair idea of what ppl are paying for the N70, N80, etc...

Greetings from McWanqa!( Yes, I'm in Scotland at the moment... ;-) ) I haven't taken as many pics with the phones on our WanqaTours trip as I was hoping to, as I have been taking so many with the long-suffering Olympus digital camera. We've just returned from the famous Edinburgh Tattoo & Festival today, will post phone pics when I get back to Hornchurch. @786KBR, Congrats on getting a K800! This message was posted from a P900

What do you guys think of the Z610 which was announced today? Personally this is the first clamshell from that I've liked from the get-go. The OLED display looks brilliant and the colours awesome.
@da wanqsta: Good to hear from you again, missed you these last couple of days. Climbed up any of the big hills yet?
