I have found these pics in so many sites now (its quite nice really)
there are plenty of flip-off pics in the
P990 product pages and actually, this is the first P series that I do actually prefer the flip-off!

I agree, because whats the use of having 2 key pads lol
when you can have one.

I am sure I want my flip off as well. I had that on my P900 with some virtuel keyboard software. This is much better.

On another thought, does anyone know whether there will be any of these screen protectors available at the time of the release? I mean size-cut ones just like we have for the current phones. It'd be a shame to scratch the brand new screen on the first week or so :)

I have liked my P910 with the flip on since I am pretty good with the keyboard and trying to use the virtual flip with my fingers never worked well. But I think I will also prefer the P990 with the flip off because it has the keyboard on the phone and it just looks better that way. I wish I actually HAD the phone so I could know for sure. Too bad it looks like I will never know when it is coming. I know so many people here have lots of connections with SE, so if anyone has the slightest idea or hint of an availability date, please post what you know. There hasn't been any new info from SE on this phone in forever, so I need something to keep me going

And here's a fun idea: we can start a pool of everyone guessing what the official release date will be! And the winner gets a brand new P990!!! Only problem is I don't know who will do the funding for the prize...anyone want to volunteer?

Ppl try to guess the releasing date of the SE P990i to the market. My guess is 3rd week of March 2006.
