I'm glad my black one doesn't have this kind of light effect. It would have been too much for me.

@ ads 1107
The white W850 does not light up the entire keypad as shown in the pic.
Only the 4 'dots' on the keypad light up.
Smart move I think. The phone would look hideous if it lit up like that.

Enjoy, picture of the grouped menu, the walkman player V2 and the walkman on the main screen on grouped theme.
I cut these down to help with the file sizes, but you get the idea!
PS images taken with a W800i in a dim room without flash for all you tech junkies.
How are the bubbles that colour on the desktop when the walkman is playing? Mine are orange and grey/faded pink, and the icons for the song playing are orange. So just wondering how you can change the colour.
I did a test. Turn your volume all the way down. Everytime I increased the volume I got a different colour variation. Give it a go.
Thanks for that, it works, it looks so cool!!

so you mean some w850i's led's dont flash when the phone is playing music !? , omg i am suddenly put off buying it , that is 1 of the reasons i wanted this phone cos the keypad flashes pink when playing music
like on the 1st page it says:
"Available in Precious Black or Golden White, the phone has an attention grabbing ‘heartbeat illumination’ feature to light-up the control keys in rhythm with your music. Visually stunning and appealing to use, this phone isn’t just about good looks"
have sony ericsson really removed this feature on some w850i's !?!?!?

The only light that beats at the rythm of the music is the Walkman key...the middle center orange button...
