So after using the phone for a day I have disowned every rumor about the UI. The phone is a pleasure to use and is a lot better then the k800i and the crap joystick. I find the d pad very easy to use and dont have the problem that others are having by accidentally pressing the centre soft key instead of up. I do however find the keys to be a little to small, but overall it is a very comfortable and greatly improved UI.
Mine arrived 10 minutes ago and I have it right here. No problems with the flash or creakiness although I haven't put it through its paces yet.
How funny is Marble-madness?

I'm not a game player and even I enjoy that game!
the creakiness comes after a day or 2. mine was rock solid when it arrived.

goldenface...
could you please confirm 30fps video recording on your K850??
there are prototype samples on the web but all are 15fps.
i just want to know if this has been fixed in the release version of the firmware.
thanks

Not a phone to keep in your back pocket by all accounts, I'm terrified of cracking the camera face since reading Eldars review and its a good job I have a couple of old T610 cleaning cloths lying around.

I have this phone, camera is ace. There's a problem with the lens cover mind...it only half opens sometimes, or doesn't open at all.
Took me a day or so to get used to, but the touch screen is a really good feature

kaiesha, or anyone else with the orange branded K850i, can you post some pics please? i'm sick of orange messing about with menus and if it's that bad i may cancel my contract and get an unbranded phone from cpw. either that or wait for the samsung g800.

i don't have an orange branded phone, but from past experience with the way they mutated my W850i, i be careful.
But i'd highly recommend getting one from CPW, mines totally unbranded and unlocked on T-Mobile, works like a charm!

Duffer, please get the unbranded one from cpw, you really won't like the orange version. I've cancelled my contract and the phone is going back.
