@moogoo congrats on your new phone, it's simply amazing!! Here's a link to my Dropbox account for a genuine 4K HDR video clip, it looks stunning. 😀

XJ - i downloaded that video you posted and watched in the album app and video app, but the quality wasn't 4K for some reason? I also tried streaming it to see if it made a difference.. it didn't. i watched some 4K vids on youtube and the clarity was insane compared to that vid. size wasn't very big either. maybe it's the wrong file?

I am really bothered by my case not fitting perfectly. not only does it look off, but i can tell it's off because when I lay it flat on the table and start using it, it's off balance and it rocks slightly making a tapping noise on the tabletop. it's snug for sure, but it seems like the corners were cut a little too snug and don't fit right.

@moogoo bit strange with that video, shame about your case as mine fits no problem. I'd get an exchange as Roxfit cases are normally very good quality. How good is that screen though?

@XJ - the screen is immaculate! definitely the best screen I have seen on a mobile device. I will have to compare it side by side with someone else just to see how amazing it really is. I watched a few 4K HDR vids on youtube real quick just to check it out. It's definitely amazing. I will have to check out what amazon has to offer later tonight when I have more time. I'll try contacting roxfit to see what they say.

I also just grabbed that video you linked from this website: http://demo-uhd3d.com/fiche.php?cat=uhd&id=159.

Now it looks proper Also, I found the 4K HDR content on amazon. Strangely, when I stream it, it says 1080p. However, when I download it and watch it, it is ULTRA HD HDR. Weird. In case you're wondering, I was watching The Grand Tour

so does the the xzp have the 4k screen in the ui and 3rd party apps as stated by moogoo if so then that would mean almost all the time?

I am not happy with the roxfit screen protector. it definitely takes away from the beauty of the device. it's just plain ugly. the hard case is ok but mine does not seem to fit as perfectly as I would have liked. There is a tiny bit of air on the back and it absolutely LOVES fingerprint oils. it smears everywhere and is a pain to wipe off more than off the glass of the phone. The corners don't seem to fit perfectly for me. COuld be just me. Sigh. It'll stay on to protect my baby but I am now on the lookout for a new screen protector, so if you find a nice one (glass preferred) let me know!

So did you buy it or not?

@alinefx - no doubt. I guess I will be returning it as well. It'll just cost money to ship it back, so that's a pain. Let me know if you find a nice one that's all clear!

IMPRESSIONS: i got a chance to play around a bit and noticed that when switching to 960fps, the amount of light needed for any type of usable picture is .. well.. A LOT. I was just standing in my hallway in what I thought was pretty bright light and under regular video conditions the scene was well lit, but switching to 960fps, the scene was nearly pitch black. I guess using this feature indoors will require a lot more light than what I have going on in my place... kinda sad by it, but I suppose if you think about how sensors work and what's happening, it's necessary and makes sense.
