You have to go to Yahoo mail options and look for POP forwarding so you can turn the function on (you need to be in the classic view and not beta)
You'll also find the settings to set it up there. But if not here they are...
On the p990 goto Messages -> Settings -> email accounts -> New
give your account a name ie: personal email, put in your name and your full email address.
connection type is POP3
Incoming server address is pop.mail.yahoo.co.uk
Enter your username and password
Outgoing server address is smtp.mail.yahoo.co.uk
check use SMTP authentication box
check use Inbox login details.
save.
enjoy emails on your phone.
To test goto messages and select Get & send.

If you don't want that pop crap, just go with your phone to the yahoo mobile/wap portal and use yahoo as you do with your pc. I do and its gret and fast.

Stupid question I know, but how does one change the shortcuts on the desktop, if you will when you open the flip? I've pretty much got the Control Panel memorised now, I've looked through it so many times.

On standby, click the activity icon, there's the shorcut and today screen tabs, choose the shortcut tab. Select whichever shortcut you want to change/edit with the jogdial(selecting with any other method would invoke the app & we don't want that). Then delete it. Once it's deleted, the app icon will be replaced by a default diamond-shaped icon. Tap on that icon and choose the app you desire. Hope I addressed your query correctly & hope it helps

how come p990i the time can't update automatically. why?
can any one tell me or i need to update. i know but i know option is ask me or never. but it ask me every 3 min. why it don't update it self.

In the PC Suite there is an option under Tools-Syncronise Time to update the time whenever the phone is connected. I think this is the only way to automaticaly update the clock.
