Stupid question I know, but how does one change the shortcuts on the desktop, if you will when you open the flip? I've pretty much got the Control Panel memorised now, I've looked through it so many times.
Thanks.
Try the application Gdesk. It's super!

With this application you can add as many shortcuts on the desk as you like and you can also change the icons.

I just bought a bluetooth handsfree Plantronics 220. Conecting to N70 I could heard the ringtone, so I was able to hear the right song. Conecting to P990i i hear the ringtone on the phone, but on the headset, I can only hear a generic ringtone.
What can I do to hear the right song on the headset?
Thank you very much.

Thanks.
On standby, click the activity icon, there's the shorcut and today screen tabs, choose the shortcut tab. Select whichever shortcut you want to change/edit with the jogdial(selecting with any other method would invoke the app & we don't want that). Then delete it. Once it's deleted, the app icon will be replaced by a default diamond-shaped icon. Tap on that icon and choose the app you desire. Hope I addressed your query correctly & hope it helps
Thanks for the reply, but that's not quite what I meant. I'll make it simpler this time . . .
When I open the flip, I see four shortcuts namely: the activity/shortcut menu, the main menu shortcut, the caller shortcut and the call register shortcut. These are the ones I'd like to change, not the ones
in the shortcut menu. I thought it possible since I saw it in a number of theme screenshots.

i believe you cannot change those. what i did though is to install linkboy so that there are more shortcuts on standby mode. this is cool since you dont need to click menu, etc, etc anymore. the only problem here is that you dont get to see your wallpaper

I thought that'd be it but then I saw the theme screenshots and it suggested otherwise . . .
Anyhow, it's stupid question day again (just turned), someone help me turn off handwriting recognition on my phone.

@Maajid
Control panel - Device - Text Input - Handwriting - Keyboard Only
Though I don't understand why you want to do this as I think it's one of the best features on the phone...
