@Tejstar
Not sure I can say when as it might just be a little bit before it's officially announced.

Is any insider here able to comment
on this slight rumour of SE ditching WM in the future?
(Hope NOT!)

@domipost: ditching windows mobile means android is gaining more terrain over it and SE will let itself flow along with android's flow. That's what I think. Sorry i'm not an insider.

Not an insider - hoping one has concrete info to answer as well. Personally I feel that as long as Windows Office Suite exists in a MAJORITY hold in the corporate office then WM will have a chance of ALWAYS being in SE's portfolio, but it will NOT be its mainstay OS: licensing costs of course in these hard economic times. The fact that the X1/X2 can be added to Active Directory (not simply just Exchange Server) & Windows Mobile System Support Center software (unsure how many corporations use this vs RIM's BES) then it can be administered not just to wipe or Exchange sync or mail search & folder support but ALSO to distribute applications OTA and restrict 3rd party applications based on specific IT Policy criteria.
I'm still looking at X2 for the 1st QTR OF 2010 its just so beautiful.

why would you buy something directly from the manufacturer though?? your guranteed to always pay much more than the market price.
i can buy Aino for $570aud... which is about $500usd...
its a very decent price if you ask me consdering the early launch prices of both c905 and w995...
sure its not a smartphone. but apart from that. it has everything imho. and the options to connect it to ps3 and access all your files on there, and watch live tv via play tv, as well as wireless file transfer... no other phone offers that.
I was able to transfer pictures, video, and files from my SE K850i over bluetooth to the PS3 80GB with PS2 compatibility early last year. Although some files couldn't be read by the PS3 the fact that they where there disproves your last paragraph statement. Live TV is great but not everybody wants that. Touch screen isn't usable throughout the system (A2) and I'm unsure if 3rd party dev apps have access to its API. Again great phone, but will it appeal to more even if the price drops say $200US (current exchange rate value) from initial release price?
Any other news of
Infinity?
yes you can b/tooth. but its a totally different experinence...

I've found something interesting. Do you remember the themes on
http://www.sonyericsson.com/quadrapop/ site for android1 and android2 devices? Check it once again. Android1 and 2 are not available anymore but there is new theme... This time for Sony Ericsson Kurara
By the way, I think this site confirmed that it will be Symbian S60 device (I know we already know about it) - themes are the same as for Satio.
