Hi All,
I've got a W800i, stuck on R1AA008 through Voda/Seus.
I need the feature on bluetooth, where you can always allow a device to have access to your phone (handsfree kit for example) My current Firmware doesn't allow this, can anyone confirm that the latest (and indeed last) does ?
to see if it's worth buying a couple of wotan credits to fix.

Thanks

Dave

Wow, that's a pretty uneducated comment. Name me one serious bug that has not been resolved with the K750/W800. I would think the K750/w800 had a pretty good run of updates during it's life. My W800 is absolutely rock solid reliable. The only minor issue was that I had to get rid of the Hissing bug myself. Expecting SE to continue to update old phones is unreasonable. No other manufacturer would do so either. If you want to be a smart buyer - steer clear of Nokia's. You only have to read about all the troubles people are having with their N73's. i.e. Slow, freezing, black photos, rebooting, etc. And, how many updates has it had in it's short life?

Well said mongoose!

I'm going to have to disagree on that comment on the N73. I've moved on from the K800i to the N73ME and I can say it's the best thing I ever did to hop out of the Sony Ericsson train.

Well, perhaps the N73 may have been crap with the previous F/W revisions, but the one that came with my Music Edition is rock solid.

I think i would never get rid of my beloved k750. I'll be getting new phones but never will get rid of this one.

Hi guys! If you're tired of your "new" firmwares... Why not flash it to W800i for a change? I've done that and i'm contented right now. Walkman phones are the hit today so why not join the band wagon without spending... Btw, flashing to W800i doesn't give me the hissing problems normally found in W800i/W810i phones... Maybe because of the 1% difference in the hardware of K750i phones... So, start flashing! Hehehehe!!!

Yes, Mark, what W800i firmware did you flash to?

Also, I'm not very clear on the difference in W800 and K750 firmwares. Does SE release the same firmware for both handsets simultaneously and apart from the obvious differences, what if any other difference is there between the two? Since the thread says the latest firmware for the K750 is R2A044, does that mean it's the latest for the W800 as well?
